The following classes are taught in person by a certified instructor (length of class next to price). Unless noted, all courses provide a 2-year certification through the American Heart Association. Fees include books, class materials, and card processing.
New to healthcare? This is the class you need to get hired and start on your new career. You will learn how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills required for in-hospital and pre-hospital settings. You will learn how to function by yourself, with a partner, or as part of a team with a focus on delivering high-quality CPR and team dynamics.
Do you work in healthcare and it's time to renew your BLS certification? This is the class for you as it will allow you to review and practice your skills in CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills needed in in-hospital and pre-hospital settings. Refresh your knowledge of team dynamics and high-quality CPR.
Do you work with children or serve as a foster parent? This course meets Illinois DCFS and 4C’s requirements for childcare providers by covering Adult, Child, and Infant CPR, AED use, and basic First Aid. Hone up on your knowledge and skills with hands-on learning.

This course teaches employees how to protect themselves and others from being exposed to blood or blood-containing materials. This course is designed to meet OSHA requirements for bloodborne pathogens training when paired with site-specific instruction. Whether you're a new parent, grandparent, or would like to expand your learning, this course teaches the basics of performing Hands Only CPR (or bystander CPR), using an AED, and responding to choking in adults, children, and infants. This is not a certification course, so no testing involved.
Blended Learning consists of two parts: (1) computer-based instruction on your own time and pace; and (2) meeting with a certified instructor to check off your skills. Perfect option for previously certified individuals who don't have alot of spare time for a traditional class. Skill verification is 1:1 and through appointment only; all classes provide a 2-year certification through the American Heart Association upon successful completion.
