Sauk Valley CPR was founded in June 2023 by occupational health RN Stephanie McLean and provides certification training through the American Heart Assocation to the surrounding Sauk Valley communities and the Northern Illinois area beyond.
Our mission is to promote safer communities and workplaces through emergency education and preparedness by providing high-quality CPR and First Aid training to individuals and organizations in our communities.
Stephanie is an experienced instructor certified by the American Heart Association and began as an instructor through KSB Hospital Corporate Health in 2000. She has taught hundreds of students through CPR/AED, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogen classes to businesses, factories, non-profit groups, schools, and emergency/healthcare workers.
Our teaching goal at Sauk Valley CPR is to help others build the confidence to use the knowledge and skills learned if ever faced with a situation where help is required until more advanced medical care can be provided. To achieve this, Sauk Valley CPR uses the latest recommended teaching techniques and equipment to ensure that students feel comfortable and effective while learning the necessary life-saving skills to help others in need.
Apart from our monthly community course offerings, we provide interested students options to balance training with a busy schedule through blended online courses as well as 1:1 scheduled training appointments.
For businesses and companies, we offer flexibility by bringing the training to your workplace or offering it at ours as well as accommodating all shifts. For non-profit organizations, churches, and businesses with active membership in a local chamber of commerce, we also offer the additional benefit of a 10% discount off of services as well.
