Sauk Valley CPR was founded in June 2023 by occupational health RN Stephanie McLean and provides certification training through the American Heart Association to the surrounding Sauk Valley communities and the Northern Illinois area beyond.
Our mission is to promote safer communities and workplaces through emergency education and preparedness by providing high-quality CPR and First Aid training to individuals and organizations in our communities.
Stephanie is an experienced instructor certified by the American Heart Association and began as an instructor through KSB Hospital's Corporate Health department in 2020. She has since taught hundreds of students including business and factory workers, church members, non-profit groups, school personnel, licensed childcare providers, and healthcare professionals.
Our teaching goal at Sauk Valley CPR is to help others build the confidence to use the knowledge and skills learned if ever faced with a situation where help is immediately required until more advanced medical care arrives. To achieve this, Sauk Valley CPR uses the latest recommended teaching techniques and equipment to ensure that students feel comfortable and effective while learning the necessary life-saving skills to be an effective first responder.
Apart from our monthly instructor-led course offerings, we provide interested students the option to balance training with a busy schedule through blended online courses, combining learning from your computer with in-person skill testing.
For businesses, schools, companies, churches, and NPO's, we offer flexibility by bringing the training to your workplace and are willing to accommodate any shift. Additionally, if you have an active membership in a local chamber of commerce, we also offer the additional benefit of a 10% discount off of services as well as a way of thanking you for investing in your community.
